Location:
Los Angeles, CA (90071) | Hybrid (3+ days/week in-office or at client site)
Compensation:
$164,200 – $246,200 / year + Performance Bonus

The Opportunity Are you ready to lead the primary tax relationship for complex corporate clients? As a
Corporate Tax Senior Manager , you will join our Corporate Tax Solutions family, working at the intersection of business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and
ASC 740 income tax accounting . We provide the tools, technology, and mentorship—including access to our Washington National Tax Office (WNTO)—to help you produce quality work and build your practice.
Success in this role is the designated pathway to Partner or Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership:
Supervise multiple client service teams; plan and execute tax projects across diverse industries while managing realization, utilization, and leverage.
Technical Review:
Conduct primary/secondary review of complex tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions; identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements.
Strategic Advisory:
Provide innovative tax planning and consulting. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, gaining deep insight into their operations and business objectives.
Business Development:
Capitalize on your external network to achieve sales and revenue targets. Identify new service opportunities and represent the firm at industry and community events.
Team Development:
Mentor and train staff; conduct performance reviews; foster a collaborative environment where "together is how we succeed."
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. (Master's in Taxation, LLM, or JD preferred).
Licensure:
Active CPA license
or
active JD/Law license
(Required).
Experience:
Minimum of
5–7 years
of progressive corporate tax compliance and/or consulting experience.
Technical Mastery:
Deep proficiency in
ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes)
and US GAAP. Working knowledge of state/local taxes, international activity, and transfer pricing.
Communication:
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills; capable of managing high-level client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Background:
Proven experience in
Public Accounting , ideally at a Top 20 firm.
Stability:
A history of steady career progression (minimizing frequent 1–2 year "job hopping").
Software:
Hands-on experience with
Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE
(OTP/OIT).
