Job Description The Associate Athletics Director for Compliance provides strategic leadership and oversight of a comprehensive compliance program, ensuring adherence to NCAA, conference, and institutional rules while promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. This role oversees rules education, monitoring, eligibility certification, and enforcement, and serves as a key advisor to athletics and campus leadership on compliance matters and risk management.

Job Duties

Direct and manage all aspects of the athletics compliance program, ensuring adherence to NCAA, conference, and institutional rules.

Develop and deliver comprehensive rules education for student‑athletes, coaches, staff, and boosters to promote a culture of compliance.

Implement and oversee monitoring systems to track recruiting, eligibility, financial aid, and playing/practice seasons; conduct regular audits to assess risk and ensure compliance.

Provide timely and accurate rules interpretations and analyze legislative updates to advise coaches and administrators on impacts to operations.

Lead investigations into potential violations, coordinate self‑reports, and collaborate with conference offices and the NCAA on enforcement matters.

Supervise processes related to initial, transfer, and continuing eligibility certification in collaboration with academic services and the registrar.

Develop, update, and enforce departmental compliance policies and procedures aligned with institutional and conference expectations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
