Social Media Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media & Marketing Manager to bring the Malibu Sugar brand to life across digital platforms. Malibu Sugar is a California-inspired fashion brand focused on fun, fresh, and confidence-boosting styles for tweens, teens, and beyond. We’re growing quickly across both DTC and wholesale , and we’re ready to take our marketing to the next level. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands fashion trends, and can translate a brand vibe into content that drives engagement and sales. What You’ll Do: Create and manage our marketing content calendar Develop and execute 3–4 Instagram & TikTok posts per week , including: New product drops Trend-driven content Behind-the-scenes moments at our office Creative storytelling that captures the Malibu Sugar vibe Concept and produce engaging, on-brand content (photo/video) Manage and schedule all posts across platforms Create and schedule email marketing campaigns Bring fresh, innovative ideas to grow our audience and increase engagement Identify new strategies to expand brand awareness and drive both DTC & B2B sales Who You Are: Deep understanding of Instagram & TikTok trends Strong eye for aesthetic, branding, and storytelling Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or youth-focused brands preferred Self-starter who can take ownership and execute Organized and able to manage a content calendar independently Excited to collaborate, but also comfortable running with ideas ✨ The Vibe: We’re looking for someone who gets Malibu Sugar — effortless, fun, California-cool, and always on trend. This role will start with collaboration and guidance, but we are ultimately looking for someone who can take this off our plate and own it , while continuing to bring new ideas and strategies to the table.
