What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead and implement technical presales engagements for electrical design software across the Eastern and Central US
Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops, and pilot projects tailored to customer needs
Serve as the technical authority throughout the sales cycle, addressing questions from engineering and executive stakeholders
Collaborate with sales teams to drive opportunities from discovery to quotation and support pipeline development
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting software subscription renewals and driving satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Automation Engineering, or related technical field, or applicable sales engineering experience
3+ years of experience in presales, application engineering, or technical sales, ideally in electrical design or automation
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and manufacturing workflows
Proven experience delivering technical demonstrations to engineering and executive audiences
Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with CAD/CAE, ECAD, or electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
Willingness to learn about panel shop automation machines and collaborate on combined software and machine sales
