CTE Program Director – Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Finance The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Program Director for Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Finance (BMEF) to join our System Office’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) department. As the Program Director, you will work directly within the BMEF team, managing and supporting the Assistant Program Directors of FBLA & DECA. You will support institutions with the development and management of quality secondary and post‑secondary CTE programs, providing leadership and expertise in the development and coordination of CTE programming. Responsibilities Review and recommend CTE programs for revision and renewal based on high quality standards related to program of study, work‑based learning, and student leadership organizations. Establish and maintain effective communication with CTE faculty and administrators at secondary and post‑secondary institutions, including newsletters, CRM records, and the BMEF website. Provide leadership in planning, developing, and updating standards, competencies, and curriculum, including integration of academic standards where possible. Assist with the development of state and local advisory committees for secondary and post‑secondary programs. Facilitate the maintenance and development of common and aligned competencies in secondary and post‑secondary education. Participate in and develop professional development activities for CACTE, CACTA, and national BMEF organizations, and facilitate or participate in statewide meetings of program‑specific instructors and administrators. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate business field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years’ relevant experience such as business educator, administrator, or post‑secondary business education background. Must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado career and technical education credential within one year of hire. Additional Qualifications and Attributes Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook. Leadership skills and experience in proactive planning, positive rapport, leading without direct supervision, and mentoring. Project management skills, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing. Work Location and Travel Location: CCCS System Office – 9101 E. Lowry Blvd., Denver, CO 80230. Employee will be required to travel to in‑state conferences, state conferences, and off‑site student organizations. Overnight stays may be required. Out‑of‑state travel for national conferences or meetings may be requested. Flexible schedules and remote work may be available; all work must be completed in Colorado. Compensation Salary range: $120,000.00 – $130,000.00.
