Jr. Account Manager

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Jr. Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, learning products and processes, and developing into a sales‑focused account management position within a global manufacturing environment.


Daily Functions & Responsibilities

In this role, you will initially focus on customer service and account support while gaining deep knowledge of products, systems, and internal processes. Over time, you’ll transition into a blended role that includes account management and proactive business development responsibilities.


  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service while processing orders, and quotes.
  • As you grow into the role, you’ll identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell, conduct outreach to prospects and lower‑tier accounts, and support new business growth.
  • Collaboration with internal teams will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and driving long‑term account success.


Required Skills

  • The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or business development within a B2B distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Just as important, you bring a positive, team‑oriented attitude, strong communication skills, and a natural drive to take initiative and grow.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000–$70,000 (DOE), including annual bonus
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and additional company benefits
  • Work Model: Hybrid schedule based in Havre de Grace, MD
