Production Manager (Nashua)

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking Production Manager due to an upcoming retirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Help keep production on track by supporting manufacturing schedules and making sure customer orders ship on time. Coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple areas like wax, shell, casting, finishing, and shipping to keep everything flowing smoothly. Support efforts to hit cost targets and maintain a strong focus on safety. Keep department spending within budget and look for ways to operate more efficiently. Lead and support the production supervisory team, helping drive consistent, efficient output across a range of investment cast products. Track and manage key performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and support their growth and development. Make sure all operations follow safety standards, internal policies, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Plan ahead for staffing needs and recommend improvements to equipment, layouts, production methods, or material handling. Balance workloads across departments while keeping inventory levels lean.
REQUIREMENTS Associate’s degree in a technical or business-related field, plus 5–7 years of manufacturing experience (a bachelor’s degree is a plus). Hands-on experience in the investment casting industry. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
