Pet Spa Groomer
who excels in delivering exceptional grooming and customer service while upholding Woofie’s standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of pet conditions and gather service requests through detailed consultations with pet owners, ensuring tailored grooming experiences.
Groom pets by bathing, brushing, combing, paw pad trimming, de-shedding, de-matting, drying, clipping/filing nails, cleaning ears, and deodorizing according to breed or mixed breed specifications and in accordance with Woofie’s standards.
Implement specialized care techniques for puppies, elderly, and disabled pets, fostering a calm environment to alleviate pet anxieties and behavioral concerns.
Prioritize pet and personal safety by adhering to established safety policies and promptly responding to any pet medical emergencies.
Maintain pet records, documenting services accurately in our electronic system.
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards, following manufacturer instructions for equipment maintenance while conserving use of replenishable supplies by adhering to proper portion or dilution level guidelines.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships through clear communication with clients and promptly following up with the back-office team.
Complete assigned clerical, inventory management, cleaning, and other tasks as directed by the mobile pet spa director or company owners.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands‑on pet grooming experience.
Maintain a valid driver’s license, ensuring the ability to operate the mobile pet spa.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, striving to exceed client expectations.
Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, including ability to work weekends, events and adapt to varying hours.
Display reliability and punctuality in all aspects of job performance.
