Position: Mobile Pet Groomer
Location: Northwest Raleigh
Hours: Full-time
Pay: Sign on Bonus! $200.00 - $350.00 per day
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Woofie's of Northwest Raleigh. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their well‑being and enhancing their appearance. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to animal care and have a strong passion for working with pets.
Duties
Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets' fur
Trim pets' nails and clean their ears
Assess the condition of pets' skin and coat, and provide appropriate treatments
Handle pets with care and ensure their safety during grooming sessions
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming area and equipment
Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners
Requirements
Previous experience grooming is required
Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
Strong animal handling skills to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
Knowledge of basic pet care and ability to identify any health issues in pets
Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment
Cat grooming/care experience OPTIONAL but would love it
