Responsibilities
Leads development of NIVEA’s HBL Marketing Plan to achieve top line sales, profit and market share. Works on go to market strategies and activation opportunities, developing strategic business recommendations with Senior Brand Manager.
Cross‑functional team collaboration with strong brand stewardship and project management (day‑to‑day business and execution of the innovation pipeline).
Lead monthly business analysis and inputs to business review (global, regional, local) and S&OP process: demonstrating deep understanding of brand and competitor performance and key drivers. Translate business analysis into action plan for business.
Strategic analysis of consumer in‑market trends and competition performance to derive conclusions for a winning product strategy & execution. Feed insights into development of global strategy and innovation pipeline.
Manage innovation pipeline localisation: including launch strategy and partnering with sales strategy & category management to develop winning strategies, sell‑in stories for customers and volume commitments.
Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing plans in line with brand vision and financial objectives, working closely with internal media team, shopper marketing and agency partners. Work closely with Supply Chain, R&D and legal on project implementation.
Partner with Shopper & Customer Marketing/Revenue Growth Management/Sales Strategy teams on shopper marketing plans, distribution and assortment priorities and ensure successful implementation of BTL activities in key channels & customers. Ensure consistent execution across touch points.
Development of presentations showcasing business to various audiences and executive teams.
Ownership of budget management, including development of annual marketing budget and tracking progress throughout the year.
Qualifications
BS/BA in science‑based degree and/or marketing (MBA a plus).
Minimum 5+ years brand management/marketing experience (consumer packaged goods preferred).
Passionate individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to grow the business.
Proven track record of driving brand growth with limited investment and resources.
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong collaborator who can lead and influence cross‑functional teams to drive business projects and results.
Strong business acumen with experience in business analysis and strong skillset in P&L, SOI, and budget management.
Must have strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Must be results‑oriented, self‑starter, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate others.
Creative thinking and flexibility – ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Digital and e‑commerce experience is a plus.
Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Nielsen and/or IRI, SAP experience a plus.
