Role Overview We’re looking for a high-energy, NYC-based Account Executive to fuel new business growth. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to signed contract, by converting free RealSelf profiles into paid subscribers and bringing high-quality aesthetic providers onto the platform for the first time. You’ll focus on small to mid-sized practices in the aesthetics space, proactively identifying opportunities, educating providers on our value, and closing revenue-driving deals. This role offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped variable commission as part of RealSelf’s Sales Compensation Plan. Key Responsibilities Source, qualify, and close high-velocity new business opportunities with low-ACV, transactional deal sizes Run a full-cycle sales process — including cold outreach, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing — with a 1–3 week sales cycle selling to SMB decision-makers such as surgeons, office managers, and business managers Manage a strong pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed targets Quickly learn and sell software, breaking into traditional or “old-school” industries and creating demand where budgets may not be pre-allocated Educate, influence, and inspire - using storytelling, product evangelism, and emotional connection to drive adoption Maintain crisp CRM hygiene and partner closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to refine our GTM strategy Requirements NYC-Based (Hybrid) 2+ years of experience in a closing or closing-adjacent sales role (AEs, Senior SDRs, or SDRs ready to step into a full-cycle role are encouraged to apply) Experience running a fast-paced, full-cycle sales process with low-ACV, transactional deal sizes Ability to engage and influence a range of SMB decision-makers, including surgeons, office managers, and business managers Coachable, high-energy, and excited to learn new technology and sell into traditional or “old-school” industries Organized and detail-oriented, with consistent CRM hygiene and pipeline management habits Bonus Qualities Early employee or one of the first sales hires at a startup Marketplace experience Proficient in Salesloft and/or Salesforce Background in beauty, aesthetics, or healthcare industries Perks & Benefits You’ll work alongside our inspiring world-class team to create content and build products that connect and empower millions of people around the world, wherever they may be on their aesthetics journey Health benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits for medical, dental and vision 100% paid for by RealSelf at the employee level Work-life balance: Enjoy paid time off, including no work on your birthday and Summer Fridays, as well as generous leave options for life events such as becoming a parent 401(k) matching: Plan for the future and take advantage of our 401(k) plan with a company match Treatment reimbursement: We offer a cosmetic treatment reimbursement program to employees who would like to take on a more active role as the consumer Company holidays: We celebrate holidays with 12 company-wide holidays plus no work on your birthday Hybrid NYC office: Flexible hybrid schedule for our New York City employees, with in-person collaboration and deep work time remote at home RealSelf is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
