New Business Development Specialist

Interiors for Business, Inc. (IFB) is an authorized Steelcase dealership specializing in creating functional and inspiring workplace environments since 1995. What You’ll Be Doing: Primarily the successful candidate will work on identifying potential clients, generating leads, conducting market research, engaging with prospects, and supporting the sales team to grow business opportunities. The Specialist will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and seamless project execution. Qualifications To Be Successful: Strong Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify and engage potential clients effectively Exceptional Communication skills to present ideas, build relationships, and collaborate with clients and teams Proven Analytical Skills to assess market trends and support strategic planning Customer Service proficiency to address client needs and ensure satisfaction Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team. This will be onsite at one of our locations or virtually Experience in sales or business development Ability to travel or work evenings or weekends as needed to attend events Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred Familiarity with the furniture or workspace design industry is a plus!
