Job Summary
Position: Labor Relations Coordinator
Location: Napa County
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Work Shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday
Salary Range: $5,188.00 - $6,495.00 A; $6,241.00 - $7,816.00 B (minimum salary for new to State at minimum or alternate range).
Responsibilities
Serve as Labor Relations Analyst (Labor Coordinator) under the supervision of the Employee Relations Officer.
Advises and assists managers/supervisors on the interpretation and application of labor agreements, codes, and laws.
Investigates grievances and complaints and develops suggested responses.
Act as hospital designee at labor/management meetings, coordinating with Department of State Hospitals Labor Relations and other staff.
Responds to inquiries from employees regarding labor/management relations and hospital policies, procedures, and practices.
Maintains and promotes effective working relationships with labor organizations.
Qualifications
Required to pass the Labor Relations Analyst (LRA) exam.
Complete the STD 678 Employment Application fully, including duties performed and supervisor’s contact information.
Provide required education records or foreign transcript evaluation if degree is not from the United States.
