LOGISTICS SPECIALIST (AUTO REPAIR PARTS) San Diego, CA

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Position Overview Research, source, track, and manage repair parts and service items needed to keep NSW vehicle and equipment maintenance operations moving.
Key Responsibilities
Research parts, service procedures, and tool requirements for automotive, heavy truck, construction, and related equipment.
Use manuals, vendor communication, and online resources to identify and price parts and services.
Maintain storeroom stock levels for common service items and recommend reorder levels based on usage and demand.
Document market research and provide findings to government purchase card representatives for procurement action.
Support shop cleanliness and maintenance-related logistics functions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience as a mechanic or repair parts clerk in a commercial or government automotive/heavy equipment shop.
ASE P1 or P2, or direct experience ordering repair parts as a primary duty for an automotive dealer or military maintenance activity.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain 95% ordering accuracy.
Active Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Inventory/storeroom experience
Government purchasing familiarity
NSW/SOF support experience
