The foreman supervises field operations of a pipe crew. They will also engage in the trade work performed by the crew. Responsibilities
Knowledgeable in the areas of pipework for sanitary sewer, drains, and watermains Directly supervises pipe crew, reporting to Superintendent Operates and supervises the operation of heavy equipment on project sites Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications Provides reports on time and materials Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met Use of heavy equipment and supervision of the use of heavy equipment Dewatering, bypass pumping, wet utilities, heavy equipment, line alignment, leak testing Knowledge of local specifications, materials, and methods Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes Requirements
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs Proven experience supervising subsurface construction, ability to multi-task and resolve issues Benefits
