
Field Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Field Marketing Specialist based in Tysons Corner, VA area. As a Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the US Public Sector marketing team in executing field marketing events and demand generation campaigns to collect and nurture leads, accelerate opportunities to close, provide thought leadership, and expand brand awareness.
This position will collaborate closely with the US public sector sales team, partner alliances team, channel partners, and other marketing teams to plan and execute compelling activities.
Responsibilities
Research, plan and execute US Public Sector event campaigns, including company‑led in‑person and virtual events and third‑party conferences.
Assist in managing event campaigns from start to finish, including event ideation and brand alignment, promotion strategy and target metrics, internal and external communications, branded swag fulfilment, logistics and staffing.
Assist with the reporting and tracking of program pipeline and performance results tied to quarterly and annual targets.
Manage SFDC campaign tracking and other processes to meet operational targets and SLAs.
Evaluate event campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment.
Collaborate with other marketing teams including Product Marketing & Messaging (PMM), Content, Alliances, ABM, Integrated Marketing, and others.
Requirements
1–3 years of B2G or B2B marketing experience.
Public Sector experience preferred but not required.
Passion for and ability to develop creative campaigns and approaches to solve industry sales team challenges.
Proven success in developing and managing field marketing programs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with effective project management, time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate internal leaders/teams across functions.
Ability to take initiative with an optimistic “can do” attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
Ability to work independently and dedicate a minimum of 40 hours/week.
Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including verification of employment and criminal history.
Ability to travel domestically up to 40%.
Welcome but not required: Experience with marketing tools like Marketo, Salesforce/Tableau, and WordPress, as well as proficiency using other office productivity applications and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Slack).
