Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rothschild, WI, for a Mechanical Designer. This position will create mechanical prints using AutoCAD and manage bill of materials through our ERP system for various production projects, including industrial silos, waste hauling tanks, and custom bins. This role involves reviewing specifications and data to develop mechanical layouts, collaborating with sales, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, and working closely with manufacturing to improve processes and resolve issues. Additionally, you will coordinate with purchasing to specify materials for projects. Success in this role requires a continuous-improvement mindset, a positive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

Proficiency AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor is a plus.

2 – 3 years of experience, preferably in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines

Associate's degree in mechanical design or a related field

Familiarity with industrial, commercial, or agricultural manufacturing environments is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Previous experience with ERP systems is beneficial.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
