Overview
Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist
at Pima Federal Credit Union is a full-time position. The role involves drafting simple and complex commercial loan documentation, conducting post-closing reviews, and managing the review and processing of construction draw packages. The specialist works closely with commercial loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation and disbursement of commercial loans.
Responsibilities
Prepare complete loan documentation packages for execution, ensuring documents meet regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
Maintain organized loan files with proper signatures, dates, legal descriptions, and supporting documentation.
Request, collect, and review required materials such as borrower entity documents, title and escrow items, insurance, appraisals, and environmental reports.
Perform post-closing reviews of funded loans to ensure data is accurately reflected in the core system and aligned with approved terms.
Collaborate with commercial loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to support timely disbursement of loans.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
Three or more years of commercial loan administration experience, including loan documentation and processing.
Two or more years of experience drafting loan documentation with systems such as LaserPro and/or Jack Henry preferred.
Strong understanding of business entity structures and complex loan structures.
High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with computers and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
