Senior Tax Analyst
We are looking for someone who is responsible for managing and executing key aspects of the company's indirect global tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. The Senior Tax Analyst will independently prepare and review complex tax filings, support tax audits, perform technical tax research, and contribute to strategic tax initiatives across U.S. and international jurisdictions. This position requires strong technical tax expertise, sound professional judgment, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, and external advisors while operating with minimal supervision. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Ownership of U.S. and Global indirect tax returns, including required schedules, extensions, and payments reconciliation. Development and maintenance of detailed tax workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for all filings and tax positions. Preparation and reconciliation of tax journal entries and coordination with Accounting to ensure accurate tax balances. Trained and shared knowledge learned for best practices with regards to indirect tax to other team members as necessary. Supported the company continuous efforts for indirect implementation and process improvement. Contribution to tax disclosures and supporting schedules for reporting for indirect tax. Performance of technical tax research on indirect tax matters, including evaluation of new or proposed legislation. Monitoring of compliance with cross-border indirect tax regulations, including e-invoice, Intrastat, and others. Support of tax planning initiatives, including identification of credits, incentives, and process improvements. Coordination with external advisors on foreign indirect tax returns and related filings. Participation in indirect tax audits, including responding to information requests and preparing audit support. What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills): CPA Certification is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's in taxation or accounting is preferred. 5 or more years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm with a focus on global tax matters. Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax laws and regulations. Experience with global tax audits and working with external auditors or tax authorities in multiple jurisdictions. Familiarity with global transfer pricing and cross-border tax issues. Experience with process automation and global tax technology solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to global tax planning. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional global team. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse cross-functional teams and external global partners. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive global tax information. Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax laws and regulations. Experience with tax provisions under ASC 740 and strong knowledge of GAAP principles and international accounting standards. Proficiency in global tax preparation software and advanced Excel skills. Ability to conduct tax research using tools Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple global tax tasks and deadlines.
