About the Role
A friendly, motivated, and experienced Optician or Optical Sales Associate is needed to join a physician-owned private practice. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greets patients and assists them in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses.
Provides expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
Takes accurate measurements for eyeglasses (PD, segment height, etc.) to ensure a proper fit.
Processes eyewear orders, checks in and inspects new glasses, and completes adjustments and repairs.
Educates patients on eyewear options, lens technologies, and proper care for glasses and contacts.
Maintains accurate records of purchases and patient information.
Supports daily office functions and keeps the optical area clean and organized.
