Exciting Opportunity as an Optical Salesperson at Dunkirk Vision! Are you passionate about providing exceptional eye care services and high-quality optical products? Dunkirk Vision is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Optician to join our team in Dunkirk, MD. If you have a strong background in customer service and a desire to make our patients happy, we want to hear from you! Daily Responsibilities: Assist patients in selecting frames Help patients choose appropriate eyeglass lenses for their occupational and lifestyle needs Take accurate measurements for various lens types Dispense eyeglasses, make adjustments, and perform repairs Place orders for spectacles through visionweb and vision plan sites Verify and inspect completed glasses upon receipt from the lab Notify and schedule patients for optical dispensing Required Skills: Knowledge of eye care Experience in optical sales Strong patient care skills Genuine desire to assist patients Thorough understanding of lens materials and frames Nice to Have Skills: Optical management experience Retail sales and merchandising background Knowledge of inventory control Understanding of HIPAA regulations Health care industry experience Ability to edge lenses for patient-owned frames Salary and Benefits: Salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience and training.
