Description The Marketing Program Manager plays a critical role in developing and scaling high-impact marketing programs that support enterprise priorities and enable more effective, consistent pursuit execution. This role is designed for a marketing professional who understands the pace, complexity and stakes of pursuit-based environments and can translate that experience into programs, tools and best practices that improve pursuit effectiveness, consistency and win outcomes. This individual will lead and orchestrate a portfolio of marketing programs, including pursuit marketing enablement, go-to-market efforts and enterprise enablement platforms, driving alignment across teams, consistency in execution and measurable impact. Partnering closely with marketing leadership, brand, content and go-to-market teams, this role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, bringing discipline to how work gets done while enabling teams to move faster and smarter. This individual brings a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational discipline, delivering programs that are well-designed, adopted, scalable and continuously improved. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of enterprise marketing programs that improve consistency, efficiency and effectiveness across pursuit and go-to-market activities. Build and scale pursuit marketing enablement programs, including frameworks, templates, tools and best practices that support high-quality, repeatable execution. Translate pursuit marketing experience into structured, usable resources that teams can adopt in real-world scenarios. Drive adoption and utilization of marketing programs and enablement platforms by aligning stakeholders, simplifying workflows and reducing friction. Partner with marketing, sales and business development leaders to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities across the pursuit and marketing lifecycle. Define program goals, success metrics and adoption targets; track performance and continuously refine programs based on insights and feedback. Establish and maintain program roadmaps, governance models and workflows that support scalability and consistency. Collaborate across brand, content, digital and go-to-market teams to align outputs with program objectives and business priorities. Lead change management efforts tied to new processes, tools and ways of working—driving clarity, communication and sustained adoption. Identify and implement process improvements that increase speed-to-market, content reuse and overall marketing effectiveness. Develop and maintain playbooks, standards and documentation that elevate marketing and pursuit maturity across the organization. Provide regular updates and actionable insights to stakeholders on program performance, adoption and impact. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field required. 8 years of experience in program management, project management, or marketing operations. Experience working in a complex, matrix organization is strongly preferred. Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Direct experience in pursuit marketing, proposal development or business development environments is strongly preferred. Proven ability to build and scale programs, frameworks or enablement resources — not just execute within them is strongly preferred. Experience driving adoption of new processes, tools or platforms across cross-functional teams is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of how marketing supports sales, pursuits and pipeline growth is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that drive measurable impact is strongly preferred. Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiative is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority is strongly preferred. Analytical mindset with experience defining success metrics, measuring adoption and translating data into actionable insights is strongly preferred. Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level — connecting program design to execution realities is strongly preferred. Comfort working in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments with competing priorities is strongly preferred. Experience working with enterprise marketing and sales platforms (e.g., CRM, content systems, proposal technologies) preferred. Experience supporting enterprise initiatives, transformation efforts or capability-building programs preferred. Ability to partner effectively with marketing, brand, content and go-to-market teams. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate priorities, manage dependencies and meet deadlines. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Comfort working in fast-paced, matrixed environments. Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
