About the Role As a CBRE Facilities Senior Manager, you will manage many functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. This job is part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. Responsibilities Provide formal supervision to employees, track the training and development of staff, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines and mentor and coach as needed. Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. Perform facility inspection quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures; review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver’s license required. Facility Management certification preferred. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention. Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own and multiple job disciplines and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. Intermediate math skills, including calculations such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Additional Requirements Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Compensation & Benefits The minimum salary for the Account Manager position is $120,500 annually and the maximum salary is $150,000 annually. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
