
Production Coordinator

Job Description
Production Coordinator – support daily production operations, maintain accuracy in manufacturing orders and inventory.
Shift
Early shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Weekend availability as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Review and prepare daily manufacturing orders (MOs) across departments.
Support supervisors with MO reconciliation and needs planning.
Partner with Master Scheduler for schedule accuracy.
Attend daily meetings and report MO status and issues.
Ensure accuracy of raw materials, finished goods, and label inventory.
Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies; participate in monthly physical inventory.
Track, organize, and archive manufacturing orders.
Communicate issues impacting planning, operations, customer service, and inventory.
Support Logistics Manager with inventory and shipping challenges.
Work closely with production teams to resolve operational issues.
Develop and improve processes for tracking manufacturing orders.
Adapt quickly to changes in production schedules and business demands.
Engage on the production floor to support operations and gain insights.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
Related Experience: 1‑3 years in food industry manufacturing; familiarity with production environments; expertise in supply chain management and inventory control.
Equipment/Software Skills: Advanced MS Excel, Word, Outlook; Inventory Management System experience preferred.

Additional Information
Physical: Must walk throughout plant, climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Sensory: Adequate visual, hearing, speaking, smell, and touch acuity for normal and abnormal conditions.
Mental/Reasoning: Ability to logically and methodically work through complex problems and processes.
