Position Title: Social Media and Marketing Intern
Schedule Details: Monday - Thursday; 12-15 hours per week
Requirements:
Experience and/or Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
Comfortable on camera and experienced with short-form video content creation and basic editing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Creative thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset
Preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design software
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer)
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Prior experience or coursework in marketing, healthcare communications, or community outreach
Genuine passion for disability services, mental health, or social impact work
Clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.
