Student Accounts Specialist

This position will assist the Student Accounts and Financial Aid Departments with the tracking, billing and placing out of school balances with third party collection agencies in accordance to regulations. The Student Accounts Specialist provides support by processing student refunds, miscellaneous account charges and reports for current and separated students. Essential Duties: Review accounts and send monthly billing statements Communicate with former students by researching and working with various departments and gathering necessary information Review, monitor, and assign outstanding balances to third-party collection agencies Generate and review student files for billing file preparation Perform miscellaneous data entry, including stipends and account charges Assist with refund processing, including pulling, reviewing, and issuing refunds as backup support Review and respond to student readmission inquiries Run late fee assessments and apply account holds as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Education & Experience: Bachelor Degree: Required Student Accounts experience: Preferred It is the policy of CSP to provide equal opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
