The New Business Development role has primary stewardship over customer acquisition through purposeful and proactive outreach. Team members in this role are responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, developing new relationships, and expanding Revup Sales' client portfolio. This position is based onsite at our Sarasota office and requires close collaboration with Sales leadership. As the role and organization evolve, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement in the future. The New Business Development team member serves as an early point of contact for prospective customers and plays a key role in introducing Revup Sales' products and services by understanding customer supply chain needs. Key Responsibilities
Conduct database and industry research to identify new markets, channels, and business opportunities Identify and pursue sales prospects and leads through proactive outreach Execute phone calls and email correspondence with prospective customers Execute the PBO Program life cycle in accordance with established guidelines and expectations Understand prospective customer supply chain needs and maintain accurate account relevancy and profile documentation Use relevancy and profile information to support education opportunities for potential customers Utilize customer feedback to evaluate Revup Sales' level of investment and identify areas for improvement Support the launch of new products through proactive education and outreach Collaborate with the Sales Manager on sales initiatives and customer acquisition strategies Maintain accurate records and documentation to support reporting and pipeline visibility Skills Required
Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills Clear and professional verbal and written communication Ability to conduct structured outreach via phone and email Research and analytical skills for identifying new opportunities Organization and time management skills Resilience and persistence in a sales-focused environment Ability to collaborate effectively with sales leadership Knowledge Required
Customer acquisition and new business development principles Sales pipeline and prospecting processes Basic supply chain concepts and customer purchasing behaviors PBO Program structure and execution expectations Customer feedback evaluation methods CRM systems and account documentation practices Ability to Implement Skills and Knowledge
