Public Relations Coordinator (Part-Time) River Rock Animal Hospital – Midland, MI River Rock Animal Hospital is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Public Relations Coordinator to support our growing practice. This part‑time role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, promoting local businesses, and creating engaging content that connects with the community. You do not need veterinary experience to succeed in this role, but an interest in animal care and client experience will help you thrive.

What You’ll Do

Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions for services, events, and seasonal care

Manage and grow social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

Create engaging content, including posts, graphics, and short‑form videos

Coordinate community outreach efforts, including local events, partnerships, and sponsorships

Build relationships with local businesses, shelters, and community organizations

Assist with in‑clinic promotions, signage, and client communication materials

Track performance of campaigns and adjust strategies based on results

Support email marketing efforts, including newsletters and announcements

Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms

What We’re Looking For

Experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field

Proven ability to run promotions and campaigns from idea to execution

Strong writing and communication skills

Comfortable using social media platforms for business purposes

Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools preferred)

Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once

Creative thinker who brings new ideas to the table

Veterinary or animal‑related experience is a plus, but not required
