The CCG (Core Consultant Group) is Oliver Wyman’s pool of early‑tenured consultants. The CCG typically has between 0‑4 years of consulting experience and joins at entry‑level as university graduates. The Talent Manager is primarily responsible for staffing and performance management of 40‑50 consultants. They are in constant contact with their consultant group and with Partners and Talent Managers across the business to assemble consulting teams and remediate issues. This is a hybrid role that requires a presence in our midtown office 3 days per week. There is no option to be fully remote. Key Responsibilities

Talent Management

Ownership of the project staffing for your consultant population (40‑50 consultants in NYC) Track consultant’s performance, skills and development needs Assist consultants with employee relations issues or general Human Capital questions Coordinate with the Learning and Development team on appropriate training Ensure consultant files are kept current and available for project proposals Understand the performance management framework and competency model Participate in monthly meetings to discuss consultant performance Support the Regional TM Head in running the semi‑annual performance management process Project Staffing

Ensure all projects are staffed via the weekly staffing process across the TM community Coordinate and interact daily with the TM team to provide “best fit” solutions on projects Make tough staffing decisions across Industry and Capabilities Teams to meet client needs Manage all non‑billable requests when consultants are available Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree and 3‑5 years of relevant professional experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic client services environment Management consulting and/or Human Resources experience preferred Skills and Attributes

Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in conversations with stakeholders Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to learn new tools Strong attention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize and manage time effectively Ability to work with confidential data Compensation and Benefits

The applicable base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $115,000. Base pay will be determined by experience, skills, location, certifications and applicable minimum wage requirements. The position may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
