About the Role

We are seeking a

Sales Consultant

to help grow our presence in the Chicago market through consultative, relationship-driven selling. What You’ll Do

Prospect, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the local market Engage customers to understand their needs and design customized packaging solutions Own the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through design, sampling, testing, and implementation Build strong, long-term client relationships through a consultative approach Spend time both setting appointments and meeting customers in the field Collaborate directly with manufacturing partners to deliver the right solutions Drive consistent activity and new account growth in line with sales goals What Success Looks Like

Strong sales activity and pipeline development Approximately two new accounts per month once ramped Regular customer engagement and in-person meetings Consistent communication and collaboration with leadership What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in consultative sales or sales consulting Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build business quickly Existing book of business is a plus but not required Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently Packaging industry experience is highly preferred, though strong adjacent experience will be considered Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus Compensation

Base salary between

$100,000 and $150,000 +

commission Location

Hybrid/field-based role in the Greater Chicago area More in-office time during the first couple of months for onboarding and training Transition to primarily field-based work with occasional office visits Quarterly in-person team meetings Why Packaging Solutions, Inc.
