Proposal Specialist
to support our client in
Baltimore, MD . The Proposal Specialist will lead proposal strategy and production while partnering closely with firm leadership, market sector leads, and technical teams to drive pursuit success, strengthen branding, and expand client relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead proposal and pursuit efforts from pre-positioning through submission, including strategy development, teaming, scheduling, and client presentations.
Support strategic marketing and business development initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership and market sector leaders.
Conduct client debriefs and capture lessons learned to continuously improve pursuit strategies and win rates.
Identify, evaluate, and secure teaming partners in coordination with business development and market sector leadership.
Train and mentor technical staff in proposal writing, interview preparation, and client-facing presentations.
Manage marketing resources, including proposal content libraries, opportunity tracking, and Deltek CRM data.
Oversee marketing collateral, social media content, photography, and branding consistency across all platforms.
Monitor procurement portals and manage Go/No-Go processes to support informed pursuit decisions.
Represent the firm in industry and community organizations to build strategic relationships and brand visibility.
Plan and execute internal events that support employee engagement and firm culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive marketing experience within the AEC and/or MEP industry.
Proven experience leading SOQ and proposal production, including digital and print coordination and binding.
Strong visual and graphic design capability with proficiency in InDesign, Deltek, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Hands‑on experience with Deltek or comparable CRM and asset management platforms.
Solid understanding of AEC marketing principles, proposal strategy, Go/No-Go decision‑making, and business development functions.
Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and technical teams in a deadline‑driven environment.
Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000–$120,000 depending on experience.
