Associate Producer Job at CBS News and Stations in Miami

CBS Miami is seeking a phenomenal, hardworking, and ambitious part-time Associate News Producer who will assist producers with their newscasts both on-air and on streaming. The role includes writing and researching stories, formatting scripts, writing to video, selecting soundbites, building graphics, and producing news cut‑ins. Key Responsibilities Write for a variety of newscasts and select the appropriate video and sound to help tell the story. Exhibit strong editorial judgment, effective communication, and critical thinking skills. Stay on top of developments in assigned stories. Produce daily news cut‑ins. Uphold impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail in all content produced. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid news judgment and a passion for news. Ability to work under deadlines. Knowledge of iNews is a plus. Bachelor's degree or currently working toward a degree.
