Senior Consultant and Principal, Enrollment Marketing Services
The Senior Consultant and Principal, Enrollment Marketing Services partners with our internal client development, client account, and corporate marketing teams and provides thought leadership and guidance to advance our current and prospective higher education clients' undergraduate enrollment goals through our proven, customized, data‑driven solutions. This highly visible role promotes EAB’s value proposition to clients, increases overall revenue and profitability, and advocates for future product and service innovations.
This hire may be based in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.; the position also accepts remote employment within the continental United States.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with the client development (sales) team to present the value of EAB services from a practitioner’s point of view and strategize the most appropriate suite of services for prospective clients’ enrollment needs.
Work collaboratively with client services and client success teams to ensure clients reach their undergraduate enrollment goals, participating in weekly calls, ad hoc enrollment consulting, supporting in‑person client meetings, and developing client retention and growth strategies.
Assist the corporate marketing team in conceiving, creating, and delivering thought leadership presentations such as webinars, podcasts, and conference presentations.
Participate in EAB consulting contracts, including projects for systems and individual campuses that involve assessments, data analysis, creating strategic enrollment management plans with tactics, and delivering written and in‑person recommendations.
Travel Expectations
This role requires approximately 60% travel.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Seasoned leader with 6+ years of experience in a senior admissions or enrollment leadership position.
10–12+ years of relevant full‑time professional experience.
Experience marketing to and recruiting undergraduate and transfer students across varied academic programs and modalities (e.g., on‑ground, online).
Intimate familiarity with direct and digital marketing channels, strategies, and emerging trends.
Proven success in developing strategic initiatives and achieving enrollment goals.
Highly developed written, oral, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
Effective analytical, evaluative, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ideal Qualifications
Advanced degree.
Direct experience working with EAB services to drive enrollment success.
Significant experience presenting to peers at national and regional professional conferences.

Compensation The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $150,000 – $190,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors including relevant experience, skills, and location. This hire will also be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation, with variable compensation depending on individual and organizational performance.
