Our client, a digital marketing agency in Princeton, NJ, is hiring a Sales Director to grow new and existing ecommerce clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a sales team and drive revenue growth while collaborating across teams in a flexible, office-primary environment. There is no deadline to apply. ** Base salary + annual bonus. ** Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week on-site in Princeton ** Travel: 30% of the time Lead and develop a lean sales team (3direct reports; ~4 reps in scope plus a contractor) Own pipeline health and forecasting: ensure consistent activity, stage progression, and deal quality Drive accountability and performance through clear metrics, coaching, and cadence Build and interpret dashboards, analyze performance trends, diagnose root causes, and implement improvements Strengthen portfolio-selling motions to expand revenue beyond a single product/service Partner internally across teams to improve handoffs, enablement, and execution Leading by example on selling the business with your own book This is a true player/coach role that requires a strong people manager who can drive performance, hold the team accountable, and foster a positive, respectful culture. The role is still office-based (Central Jersey/Philly area), but some flexibility for the right candidate. Must have 8-10 years of experience with 4-5 years of that in people management experience, ideally in e-commerce and sales hunting. Proven experience managing sales teams with consistent achievement of B2B revenue goals. Skilled in pipeline management, coaching, and performance enhancement of sales representatives. Highly comfortable working with dashboards, sales metrics, and data analysis tools. Experienced in selling to e-commerce businesses, especially those with over $5M in annual revenue and 300,000+ website visitors annually. Successful in multi-product or multi-service portfolio expansion rather than channel-only sales. Familiarity with Salesforce (moving to Pipedrive), ZoomInfo, PandaDoc, Chili Piper, and Zoom.
