We are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer in Conshohocken, PA to support advanced facilities projects, focusing on HVAC and Plumbing design for construction. The role includes independent mechanical design assignments, site visits, and coordination with engineering and project management teams. Responsibilities
Perform mechanical design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Develop HVAC and plumbing designs for construction, including load calculations, equipment selections, ductwork, and plumbing system designs. Gather existing HVAC and plumbing conditions on site during construction as needed. Coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management. Qualifications
Associates degree in a related technical discipline (highly preferred). At least 5 years of practical mechanical design experience, including HVAC load and plumbing calculations, equipment selections, and ductwork and plumbing system designs. Proficient working knowledge of Revit software. General working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes. Understanding of clash detection, clash resolution, and building system coordination. Preferred Qualifications
Industrial design experience, including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar. Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and construction teams. Passion for buildings and construction. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Forward‑thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and ability to contribute innovative ideas. Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive knowledge broadening. Location
This role is staffed out of our Conshohocken office and operates on a hybrid schedule with majority of time worked remotely and approximately 2 days per week in‑office as needed. Compensation
Base salary range: $71,000.00 to $120,000.00, paid hourly based on hours worked. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Benefits
