Position Overview This position is responsible end to end for the Senior Living Business, reporting to the President of the company. The role is a hybrid leadership role, with P&L responsibility, blending sales management and operational oversight. The Director of Sales & Business Development will lead a growing sales organization while providing strategic direction and hands‑on leadership for both sales performance and operational excellence. The role requires an executive mindset—someone who can inspire a team, streamline business operations, and close high‑level deals when needed.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of sales professionals serving the senior living market.
Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pipeline management to negotiation and deal closure.
Support the team on strategic, enterprise‑level opportunities, particularly large partnerships or key accounts.
Establish clear performance metrics, compensation structures, and incentive programs aligned with company goals.
Partner with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategies.
Implement data‑driven processes and reporting through CRM and analytics tools to optimize sales performance.
Strategic Leadership
Contribute to company‑wide strategy for growth, efficiency, and customer retention.
Translate strategic business objectives into operational and sales execution plans.
Represent LifeStation at senior living industry events and in high‑level client engagements.
Serve as a key member of the leadership team, fostering collaboration and accountability across departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
12+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within technology, healthcare, or senior living sectors.
Proven success managing sales performance functions.
Experience closing complex, multiyear B2B or recurring revenue deals.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Hands‑on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and performance management tools.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
