Job Details We are seeking an associate with 2–4 years of experience to join our commercial real‑estate and development practice. This role offers hands‑on involvement in a steady flow of sophisticated transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters across a variety of asset classes. Our teams are lean and collaborative, allowing associates to take meaningful responsibility while working closely with experienced attorneys. The position is well‑suited for someone who enjoys transactional work, values efficiency, and is looking to grow into increased deal ownership within a fast‑paced, high‑quality practice at a growing AmLaw 200 platform.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, and related transactional materials
Review and analyze title, survey, and due diligence materials and identify issues and resolutions
Draft, review, and summarize loan documents for commercial financing transactions
Support commercial leasing matters for landlords and tenants
Manage deal timelines, closing checklists, and coordination with internal teams and counterparties
Produce polished, client‑ready work product with strong attention to detail and practical judgment
Qualifications
2–4 years of transactional commercial real‑estate experience
Strong foundational experience with title and survey review, acquisition documentation, and loan documents
Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline‑driven environment
Preferred experience representing developers and/or borrowers in complex transactions
Requirements
Prior law firm experience required
Active bar admission tied to the attorney’s primary office location
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular in‑office collaboration (2–3 days per week)
Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 per year
