We are seeking an experienced, people-focused
Property Manager
to oversee the operations of a dynamic commercial real estate portfolio. This role includes direct management of a Class AA office property located in Broomfield and various commercial associations, supporting both tenant satisfaction and owner objectives. This position will sit on-site at Prime West’s Corporate Office in the Denver Tech Center.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, fostering strong, service-oriented relationships.
Ensure high tenant satisfaction through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and hands-on management.
Understand client strategy to align property performance with ownership goals and support client retention.
Operations & Maintenance
Oversee day-to-day building operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and safety programs.
Conduct regular building inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
Supervise in-house construction and capital improvement projects; review and approve construction plans.
Implement and uphold safety and security standards; maintain key control and emergency procedures.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets within a 5% tolerance.
Review and approve property payables and receivables; oversee financial reporting in partnership with the accounting team.
Issue monthly operational reports and capital project updates to ownership.
Secure vendor bids and manage service contracts through a structured RFP process.
Lead and support a team of building engineers, administrative staff, and vendors.
Create a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture with emphasis on training, performance, and accountability.
Participate in hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and personnel management, aligning the team with the company goals and objectives.
Leasing & Lease Administration
Review and abstract lease documents; ensure accurate lease billing and compliance.
Coordinate tenant move-ins/outs and collaborate with leasing teams to support occupancy goals.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial property management (office and/or industrial).
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication.
Financial acumen and experience managing operating and capital budgets.
Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Sage) and work order systems (e.g., Angus, Building Engines, Fyxt ) preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
