Property Manager

Position Overview The Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing community, including leasing, compliance, resident relations, and financial performance. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the property runs efficiently, remains compliant, and continues to grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily property operations including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations

Ensure compliance with LIHTC and Section 42 affordable housing regulations

Manage rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting

Maintain accurate tenant files, certifications, and recertifications

Respond to resident concerns and foster a positive community environment

Supervise and collaborate with on-site staff and vendors

Drive occupancy goals and support leasing efforts as needed

Qualifications

Previous property management experience preferred

Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, or Section 42 strongly preferred

Strong understanding of compliance, leasing, and resident relations

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Proficiency with property management software is a plus
