Eat. Sleep. Lead. Repeat: Our Logistics Director leads, manages and holds the statewide delivery team accountable. This director works at our Kalamazoo Headquarters Monday-Friday, with scheduled visits to our other warehouse locations around Michigan. Our Logistics Director is responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of products, as well as facilities and equipment management. A Day in the Life

Be a positive example of working hard and having fun

Lead and manage the delivery management team

Oversee and assist in the management of the pick-up, transport and delivery of beverages to customers

Build ownership and hold your team accountable

Consistently identify department opportunities for improvement and create plans for implementation, especially related to staffing levels, equipment, routing and training

Facilities management for all non-Kalamazoo warehouses

Oversee maintenance of delivery vehicles

Oversee DOT compliance with all policies and procedures

Lead delivery safety initiatives

Attend all Leadership Development Training that Imperial provides

Requirements

Enjoy a work hard/play hard culture

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent education and experience) in Supply Chain Management or related field

5+ years' experience in management

3+ years' logistics experience

Leadership skills to direct employees and oversee department operations

Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and efficiently while remaining calm and professional

Self-starter with a high productivity level

Thorough understanding of DOT regulations

Must have a reliable personal cell phone with the ability to receive calls and text messages and with a cell phone number available internally

Ability to coordinate processes and work well with various departments

Experience with performance metrics and process improvements

CDL-A preferred
