Overview We are seeking an Electrical Distribution Designer to support overhead and underground power distribution projects across commercial, utility, and institutional environments. This role focuses on preparing design drawings, supporting engineering calculations, and coordinating with project teams to deliver reliable electrical infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

Prepare design layouts for overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.

Develop construction drawings and design packages for medium and low voltage distribution projects.

Support engineering calculations and technical documentation for electrical infrastructure.

Utilize ArcGIS and MicroStation to develop and update electrical distribution design drawings.

Assist with field data collection, redlines, and as‑built documentation updates.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and internal teams to support project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.

Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems including overhead and underground design concepts.

Experience using MicroStation and ArcGIS for electrical distribution design.

Understanding of electrical codes and standards related to power distribution.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.

1–3 years of experience in electrical distribution design required; experience with PEPCO projects is a plus.
