
Associate Technical Designer, Mainline

Responsibilities
Responsible for working with the Design, PD, and Merchandising teams to understand deliverables and meet deadlines for creating and passing product specs for all stages of development – concept through production. These deadlines may fluctuate due to timing and include, but are not limited to, the following:
Proto rounds – work collaboratively with the designer to ensure that all specs reflect the designer’s intentions. Verify accuracy of all information captured in specs by self‑checking sketches and dimensions.
Final Bulk Pass Off – assist the Tech Designer & Sr Tech Designer in executing final product spec updates and corrections for that season, ensuring that any and all post‑market changes are approved by the design team.
Ensure product specs are consistent across all factories and all seasons.
Review and correct post‑market samples.
Create and maintain digital design detail and standards libraries.
Research product functionality trends across market.
Assist in CAD and artwork creation in Illustrator and Photoshop, as needed.
Core Skills
Strong communication and email skills.
Detailed note‑taking and organizational skills.
Construction knowledge preferred.
Flexibility to work in‑office, as needed, based on development calendar.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2–4 years of experience.
College degree in fashion design or a related field.
Illustrator and Photoshop experience required.
Substance 3D experience a plus.
Raspberry AI, Adobe Firefly AI, or other product design AI experience a plus.
Microsoft Excel experience a plus.
