The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Handbag Design Department to contribute to the design and development process.
Responsibilities
Responsible for working with the Design, PD, and Merchandising teams to understand deliverables and meet deadlines for creating and passing product specs for all stages of development – concept through production. Deadlines may fluctuate with timing and include, but are not limited to:
Proto rounds – work collaboratively with the designer to ensure that all specs reflect the designer's intentions. Self-check sketches and dimensions for accuracy.
Final Bulk Pass Off – assist Tech Designer and Sr Tech Designer in executing final product spec updates and corrections for the season, ensuring that any changes after market are approved by the design team.
Ensure product specs are consistent across all factories and all seasons.
Review and correct post-market samples.
Create and maintain digital Design detail & standards libraries.
Research product functionality trends across markets.
Assist in CAD and artwork creation in Illustrator & Photoshop as needed.
Qualifications
Strong communication and email skills
Detailed note taking and organizational skills
Construction knowledge preferred
Flexibility to work in-office as needed, based on development calendar
Accomplishments and Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience
College degree in fashion design or a related field
Illustrator and Photoshop experience required
Substance 3D experience is a plus
Raspberry AI, Adobe Firefly AI, or other product design AI experience is a plus
Microsoft Excel experience is a plus

$64,350.00 - $78,700.00
