Description Our client is currently seeking a Resident Care Director to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
Oversight of new hires and training/evaluation of LPNs.
Ensure quality performance through development and implementation of a quality assurance program.
Maintain that residents are consistently having their health monitored.
General oversight of the department budget.
Set up training sessions and conduct staff meetings.
Act as a point of reference for staff and serve as a primary representative of the facility.
Creation of a medication management program.
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive experience in a supervisory role at a facility dealing with a disabled or elderly population.
A NYS Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse preferred.
Extremely strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Hours & Benefits
Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
