
Assistant Property Manager

Boulos Asset Management, Maine’s largest commercial real estate management company, is seeking a dedicated, self- motivated individual to join our property management team. The Assistant Asset Manager provides professional, administrative services to an assigned portfolio of properties.
Role Responsibilities Duties and skills include, but are not limited to the following:
Code invoices and ensure proper billing for assigned properties per lease agreements.
Monitor all projects, deadlines, and construction costs to ensure cost efficiency for clients and tenants.
Assist with annual capital expense budgeting for clients.
Correspond with clients, tenants, and vendors regularly to ensure satisfaction.
Schedule and coordinate appointments for vendors and Maintenance Technicians.
Complete annual CAM Reconciliations for an assigned group of properties.
Reliable follow-up and strong communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional writing skills for monthly management reports to clients.
Draft vendor service contracts and requests for proposals for vendors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in property management is required
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Knowledge of basic accounting and AP.
Proficiency in property management software, record-keeping, and reporting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for tenant and vendor relationship management
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Capability to learn new systems and programs.
Knowledge of lease administration and financial reporting for property management
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
