On Site 5 Days a week in Glendale, AZ Position Overview 3Z Brands has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic Director of IT to lead technology operations supporting both manufacturing environments and a corporate team of 300+ professionals. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT systems across production facilities and office functions, while aligning technology initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of hands-on infrastructure expertise, leadership capability, and experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. Key Responsibilities IT Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy aligned with business objectives. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing IT team (help desk, infrastructure, applications). Partner with executive leadership to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency. Manufacturing Systems Support Oversee IT systems supporting manufacturing operations (e.g., ERP and shop floor systems). Ensure high availability and performance of plant systems to minimize downtime. Collaborate with operations leaders to optimize production through technology. Corporate IT Operations Manage IT services for 300+ corporate users across multiple departments across US. Oversee end-user support, network infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise applications. Ensure seamless onboarding/offboarding and user productivity tools. Infrastructure & Security Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments. Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, risk management, and compliance standards. Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery and backup strategies. Vendor & Budget Management Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants. Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and ROI. Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems. Process Improvement & Governance Establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices (ITIL or similar frameworks). Monitor system performance and KPIs; drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field., or equivalent experience. 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles. Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems. Proven ability to manage teams and complex IT operations. Preferred Experience with Cisco Meraki Networks, Cisco Firewalls Familiarity with production automation systems. Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure. Microsoft Entra, Defender, Sentinel, Purview. Experience managing windows servers in data centers. ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar certifications. Managing large fleet of desktops, laptops, printers, POS, tablets. Solid experience with cyerbsecurity tools and processes. Experience with IT controls and SOX processes.
