R26\_0000001396Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.**Brown & Brown** is seeking an **Employee Benefits Account Executive** to join our growing team in **Austin, TX!**The employee benefits account executive will be responsible for acting as the senior strategic advisor and relationship owner for complex, high‐profile employee benefits clients, leading benefits strategy, advanced funding analysis, and long‐term cost‐containment planning. This role independently manages sophisticated accounts, serves as the escalation point for complex issues, oversees and mentors account teams, and partners with producers to drive client retention, growth, and new business opportunities.**How You Will Contribute:*** Act as the senior strategic advisor and relationship owner for complex and high-profile employee benefits clients.* Lead benefits strategy, funding analysis, vendor selection, contribution modeling, and long-term cost-containment planning.* Independently manage the most complex accounts, including self-funded, captive, and advanced funding arrangements.* Oversee account teams, including Senior Account Managers and Benefits Analysts, ensuring workload balance, accountability, and professional development.* Serve as escalation point for complex client, carrier, vendor, or compliance issues.* Partner with producers on new business opportunities by participating in prospect meetings, finalist presentations, and strategy development.* Drive client retention, growth, and cross-selling initiatives in collaboration with agency leadership.* Ensure consistent adherence to agency service standards, technology platforms, and best practices.* Coach and mentor team members through feedback, training, and career development planning.* Proactively monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and market innovations to provide forward-looking guidance to clients.**Skills & Experience to be Successful:*** Strong knowledge of all funding models, with self-funding experience prioritized.* Extensive client-facing experience, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.* Demonstrated sales acumen, including the ability to identify opportunities and influence decision-making.* Proven capability to lead and manage large, complex accounts.* Comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.**Teammate Benefits & Total Well-Being**We go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:* *Health Benefits*: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance* *Financial Benefits*: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement* *Mental Health & Wellness*: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services* *Beyond Benefits*: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.*Not reflective of all benefits.
