1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities
Design and develop progressive dies for metal stamping processes using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements and client specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies, material flow analyses, and ensure proper die functionality.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of tooling components and assemblies.
Optimize die designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability while adhering to project timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to die design and implementation.
Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Less than 10 years of progressive die design experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Good understanding of metal stamping processes and tool design fundamentals.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under supervision and collaborate effectively with team members.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience with sheet metal forming and secondary operations.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
Work Environment This position requires working on-site at Shelton, CT, in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with machinery, tools, and equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards.
