Director of Investment Operations
Overall Function The Director of Investment Operations is responsible for managing and directing the investment operations team. The director will lead and delegate tasks among team members to ensure efficient processing of all investment account openings, client onboarding, and investment service work. The role involves direct interaction with clients to facilitate account rollovers/transfers and ensure all service work is handled effectively. Responsibilities Investment Account Opening (Brokerage/Advisory) All Investment service work Process one-off service transactions Trading & Trade tickets for Direct-to-Fund accounts Securities Trading via the Trade Desk Variable Annuity Applications & Service work Individualized trading to meet the various needs of clients 401k & Simple IRA Plans – Opening new Plans, processing new participant enrollment forms Compliance & Regulatory Adherence – Staying up to date in financial regulations & implementing any necessary changes to ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Financial Service or Insurance industry experience preferred Series 6 - preferred. Obtain Series 7 within 6 months of employment Health and Life licensed or gain licensing within 6 months of employment Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to practice active listening and communicate in a direct manner Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner Willingness to learn Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment Able to work both independently and on a team Ability to maintain confidentiality Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with team and clients Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Bottom of Form Job Type:
