Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Associate Manager to join our Global Marketing Team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely alongside World of Hyatt Social Media colleagues, as well as with a variety of cross-functional colleagues, including the broader Global Marketing, Communications, Brand teams, and more, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role The Associate Manager, Social Media will work closely with fellow World of Hyatt Social Media colleagues on the Global Marketing team, as well as peers across the Brand, Global Media, Communications Teams and other departments, to ensure the content on World of Hyatt’s social platforms are a true reflection of the portfolios, partnerships and people in the World of Hyatt while also supporting social business goals. Responsibilities Creating strategic briefs to inform creative partners of data-driven social concepts for both upcoming evergreen content, as well as real-time trendy content Schedule and publish content via social media management tool Monitor and analyze social performance, leveraging insights and recommendations to improve future content Move quickly on relevant, important social media trends with creative partners for key channels Support day-to-day management and optimization of key social channels, ensuring content aligns with platform best practices Support with development of social-first strategies and content plans of ongoing evergreen & campaign efforts Content creator & influencer management for strategic campaigns Proactive community management and surprise & delight efforts alongside Global Care Center colleagues Ongoing quarterly hotel toolkit creation with creative partners for social media management tool for various initiatives Collaboration with other internal teams to coordinate and amplify marketing campaigns Light community management as needed on key channels for certain high priority initiatives Coordinate with Global Media team on ongoing paid social efforts Experience Required Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a social media management role Knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, English or technology-related Creativity and immersion in social media, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms Strong familiarity with Sprinklr or similar social media management tools Ability to work with a variety of partners and team members across different projects Highly self-motivated Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience Preferred Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills Project management skills are a plus Excellent writing and language skills Benefits Annual allotment of free hotel stays at Hyatt hotels globally Flexible work schedule Work-life benefits including wellbeing initiatives such as a complimentary Headspace subscription, and a discount at the on-site fitness center A global family assistance policy with paid time off following the birth or adoption of a child as well as financial assistance for adoption Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with company match Compensation The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc. The final pay rate/salary will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications, as well as location.
